On the Occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, 02nd October 2018, Advy initiated ‘Swachh Advy Abhiyan’ at our Thane Plant and Ushid Goat Farm. The purpose of this activity was to showcase Advy’s support to the currently on going, ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and to instil among employees the importance of hygiene and a cleanliness in the work environment at Advy.
The following were planned as part of this activity:
1. Picking up of rags, plastics, waste lying in and around the ADVY premise
2. Sweeping of corridor floors and surrounding areas
3. Cleaning of outside area near the Advy Gate on Road No 25 & 26
4. Cleaning of window panels, file-racks, doors, and store-racks in their respective departments
5. Cleaning and watering of the garden at the premises
6. Removing cob webs from the walls and ceilings.
7. Employees were encouraged to plant saplings and flowering plants with the help of the admin at designated locations.
The participation of employees towards this initiative was encouraging and has become a stepping stone towards many such initiates in the future, in this direction.
